Welcome to Forest Hill Elementary School

Forest Hill Family Newsletter for March: https://www.smore.com/n/mqz8h

Good afternoon, Forest Hill Families,

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I hope you have a day filled with luck and good fortune. As my Irish side of the family always shared…May your troubles be less, and your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness come through your door.

On the calendar this week:
•    17- Happy St. Patrick’s Day
•    19-First Day of Spring! Rainbow of Readers- wear your favorite color to school.
•    20-PTA Meeting 7:00 PM in FHES media center
•    22-End of 3rd quarter, 3 Hour Early Dismissal 12:30, Storybook Character Day and Retrievers Read. Students remember to complete all assignments by Friday.
•    25-29 Schools are closed for students.
•    31- Happy Easter!
•    4/1 Schools Closed
•    4/2 Schools Reopen & Autism Acceptance Day- Wear blue.

Students will begin using plastic water bottles when they return from break.
§    Students will not be allowed to use the metal water bottles after 4/2 due to ongoing safety concerns. We ask you to seek first to understand how you would feel if you received the call about your child experiencing a significant injury due to a metal water bottle.
§    Students have access to the water filling station and water fountain, and you may want to consider adding ice to the water bottle to maintain the cool temperature throughout the day.
§    We are exploring the purchase of BPA free water bottles.
§    Safety is our priority, and we appreciate your support with this expectation!

Spring picture day will be April 10th and flyers will come home when we return on 4/2.

I want to give a huge shoutout to all of the families who joined us for Breakfast & Books! It was a great turnout thanks to our special and unique school community.
